Operations Officer
Soteria Solutions is seeking an Operations Officer to staff a 24x7 operations center for a mission-critical and highly visible U.S. Government project. The candidate will manage the receipt, verification, organization, and dissemination of identity information. The Operations Officer requires daily interaction with forward deployed teams, management, security personnel, and government personnel with other federal agencies. Applicant must be a positive, flexible, self-starter requiring minimal direct supervision, and able to excel in this fast-paced environment. Exceptional technical, communication and interpersonal skills are a necessity, including the ability to effectively communicate via written and verbal media. This position functions as part of a team with a sense of ownership and dedication to mission.

Responsible for the following tasks:

Work in a systems operations center environment.

Develop and maintain situational awareness of ongoing events that may affect ongoing evacuation operations.

Provide continuous information sharing, knowledge management, communications, and reporting support through collaborative business processes.

Recognize Project Critical Information Requirements (PCIRs), categorize and disseminate critical information to the project and corporate leadership and staff, regional operational nodes, and deployed operational teams.

Develop written products for senior-level customers.

Prepare and disseminate briefings to support the project decision cycle.

Develop responses and briefings to Request For Information (RFI) from senior, adjacent and subordinate staffs.

Support Crisis Operations Information Management using existing share point tools and all other available information systems in the Operations Center.

Follows local security procedures and supports Information Assurance (IA) requirements to ensure the security and integrity of the Operations Center.

Ensures compliance with all regulations and policies governing secure communications equipment and procedures.
Work is performed at the government location in the Washington, DC area. Position may include up to 10% travel both locally and nationwide.

English fluency is required. Dari and Pashto language skills would be beneficial but are not required.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
